Learners at The Haven are usually offered transport as part of their placement - this is usually in the form of a taxi. If possible learners are put in a taxi with another learner from the school which makes their journey more enjoyable.

School starts at 9:00am but sometimes the taxis arrive a few minutes early, the learners are greeted by a member of school staff and welcomed into the building to start their day. The school day ends at 3:15pm when the taxis arrive to take the learners home.

We don't have a school uniform at The Haven but encourage the learners to select clothing appropriate for the weather that they feel comfortable in.

Throughout the day we provide snacks and school lunch, the menu is created by the learners and always offers a choice of options so that there is something for everyone.
